Do you want to build a guitar one day, but have zero woodworking experience? You've come to the right place!

My name is Gal. I'm 34 years old and I work in tech. I used to love woodworking with my grandfather as a kid, but I've neglected this love completely over the next 25 years or so.

Can I build a guitar for you? Hell no!
I might be fun, but I'm mostly useless - woodworking-wise at least.

In 2022, I was scrolling through YouTube and found a great video series for people like me (and perhaps you), with plenty of love for guitars and zero guitar-making experience.

I was hooked immediately. Here's what I did:

• Bought plenty of wood
• I started buying tools - mostly the wrong ones
• I went to courses I'm not sure I needed
• I bought domains for a guitar company I will start - when I get good at it, in about 30 years or so

Mostly I did everything I could to avoid making the first real cut. It happens - to most of us, I think.

This website is an public record of my guitar-making journey.

I am not going to lie - $h!t will likely hit the fan more than once. It should be entertaining, at least for you.

It will feature many failures and, if we stick with it, perhaps a success or two.
